Concept
L.01 is an earth-sheltered residence in Zakynthos, designed to sit low within the landscape and open towards the sea. The architectural composition is organised along a strong horizontal axis, with planted roofs, stone retaining walls and deep overhangs allowing the house to blend naturally into its surroundings.
The exterior combines local stone, white rendered planes and timber screens, creating a layered transition between enclosed rooms, shaded terraces and the pool area.
The interior follows the same restrained language through soft plaster, pale stone, natural timber and carefully integrated lighting.
