Concept
Lines 23 is a series of earth-sheltered houses designed to sit quietly within the rugged landscape of Leros.
Partially embedded into the ground, the buildings follow the contours of the site and use planted roofs, stone walls and low horizontal lines to reduce their visual presence in the landscape.
Large glazed façades frame uninterrupted sea views, while sheltered terraces and pools extend each house towards the exterior. Natural timber, light stone finishes and soft plaster surfaces create a quiet material palette throughout the interiors.
